To Roll and to Dodge!
This week was main character focussed. I wanted to add in a mechanic that was a bit related to the similar games in my dissertation, "Dark Souls". In Dark Souls, there is a certain combat mechanic which is rolling and dodging, I thought this would be perfect for Till Kingdom Come as it is a combat focussed game. Below you can see a snippet of the mechanic and this should be used in dire situations within combat as it drains stamina.
Talking about stamina, I decided to quickly add in a health and stamina bar.

The health is obviously drained if the player sustains any damage however, the stamina works in a particular way. As mentioned before, rolling and dodging will reduce the stamina and as well as this, the stamina can also be drained if the player is running. Both running and rolling/dodging are disabled if the player is at 0 stamina and they will have to wait a short amount of time before the stamina bar starts to refill again.
