Level = Level + 1!
This week was all about the level up and the XP system. Below is a video showing an example of the XP system, I pressed a key to give a quick glance into how everything works (this was done for testing purposes).
When an AI is killed, either the sword or the archer, they both drop a total of 25 XP, when a boss dies, they drop a total of 50 XP. The levels increment in 25's and level 0 starts off needing 25 total XP. So it goes from needing 25, to 50, to 75, to 100 etc. When the player levels up, a prompt is shown to say that they have done so and the health increases in increments of 10. Any XP that is "leftover" is carried onto the next level and the player gains full health once they level up.
This week was pretty short and sweet and im nearing the end of the project's development sadly, next week I plan to do some testing and seeing if there are any bugs that I can find. Thanks for tuning in this week, I'll see you in the next!
